I’ve been trying fine art square crop photography lately, and I must say I’ve been pleased with the results so far. Hope you enjoy!

Perfect lighting on Third Headland, the Mid North Coast. The sun says goodbye for another day.

Bindarri National Park, NSW. These are the cascades which you have to walk through to get to the bigger falls which unfortunately I didn’t make it due to a fall into the river with my camera, thankfully my Lowerpro backpack is fully waterproof and my gear stayed dry. Alex Nail helped with processing this image.

Bindarri National Park just North from Coffs Harbour, NSW Australia. The scale of these cascades is quite deceiving, they’re bigger in the flesh.
The Mystical Sea

Slow tide receeding into the Pacific from Hungry Head (my local beach) on a cold Autumn’s afternoon. I didn’t think there was going to be much of a sunset or any colour in the sky for that fact, but then it pulled through just at the right time. It’s almost like a rainbow of its own. I hope you like it.

The sea’s are rough with massive swell after the sudden weather change we’ve had on the Mid North Coast. This is Main Beach Nambucca, very cold and windy morning. Not that location matters for a shot like this, any beach in the world can look like this.
Third Headland

I was lucky to get through to my local beach, Third Headland yesterday as the road has been closed for a week or two from all the rain we’ve had. The road was flooded and there was no way of getting down to the beach, so I’m glad it’s opened up and I was able to get through.
The lighting was beautiful as the sunset behind the headland, casting beautiful light along the beach.
Lower Ebor Falls

Found a gap in the dense landscape where I could shoot the next falls down from Ebor Falls, I’m not sure what the name of this waterfall is but I called it “Lower Ebor”. The rain and mist leave a haze through the valley which create a nice atmosphere.
Ebor Falls NSW

Ebor Falls is where the Guy Fawkes River takes a spectacular plunge over basalt rock. The now extinct Ebor Volcano created the basalt rich area around Ebor Falls more than 18 million years ago. I was unable to get down below the falls due to the constant rain, the paths were slippery and I didn’t feel like swimming.
